Super delicious food, home-made apple wine from the owner and super friendly and attentive wait staff make a visit to the bike always something special! And even in times of Corona, the service and quality does not decrease - the bike goose to go at Christmas was absolutely awesome! A loquat for your health!

Always very nice with good food!

I always enjoy going out to eat here with my friends and relatives. The price-performance ratio is right, the atmosphere outside in summer, as well as inside in bad weather, is great. The menu has a good selection with home-style dishes that are delicious and really fill you up. Good place for good people!

Very cozy, delicious, great service !!! At the current Corona time, pick-up and delivery services are offered. I can only recommend food that is always hot for delivery service.

A good typical German restaurant. The Frankfurter Haxe is the house specialty. A huge gourmet and crunchy ham for the bravest.

I treated myself to the Seckbacher Handkäsbrot. It was really tasty, the portion just right for the evening. But there is a point deduction for the totally excessive price of € 9.00

The quality of the bike has improved again in recent years: very good German cuisine. In no case should you order the homemade, super boring Milchschnitte. In summer you can sit in a spacious courtyard in the heart of Seckbach with a glass of cider.

The food is really top notch. The best mashed potatoes I've ever tasted here. I would say that you can't do it better at home. The inner courtyard is very cozy and well laid out, but the ambience also fits inside. I'm always happy to go there and can recommend it with a clear conscience. ?

The best Ebbelwei bar in Frankfurt is not in Sachsenhausen, but in Seckbach! The Äppler tastes best when it comes to cycling, and when it comes to eating, you're right up there. The atmosphere inside and in the garden is great. The delivery service during the lockdown was also a great idea.

Excellent Äppler, wait staff on the ball and very friendly. Manageable menu with lots of goodies, plus a daily menu with great dishes. Portions are decent and the prices are absolutely reasonable. Very nice outdoor area that invites you to linger in summer.

A nice place, an appealing menu, but the waiters mostly wear small Plexiglas visors that end under their noses. Why not at least plexi that covers the entire face, including the nose? The boss did not understand the criticism as he said it was legal. May be true, but I don't feel good as a guest and I guess plexivisires are only okay if my entire face is covered. The food looked good, but I'm from o.a. Reasons gone again.

The garden is set up very nicely at a distance. The boss coordinates the seats. Great food, very attentive service. Overall: very nice atmosphere.

They wouldn't sell me a Bembel. I'm Sauer but not like the Ebbelwoi. Food is great. If you don't eat here and love it, you're wrong ?

Very nice place with good food.

Great old "Apfelwein Restaurant" for young and old, kids friendly and cosy atmosphere. The food is typically for this region and the Apfelwein (cider) as well as the Apple juice is self pressed and hmm.. There is a diaper changing table at the women toilet, even if the waitress didn´t know that.

Very good restaurant for cider, tries to preserve its down-to-earth character, which is not possible with the many foreign visitors. The menu is typical of a Frankfurt apple wine restaurant. There are the usual standards such as ribs with cabbage, roast pork, green sauce and hand cheese. In addition, there are always seasonal dishes of the day. Specialities are game dishes in autumn with lingonberries and wild mushrooms. Legendary is the geese dinner at St. Martin (every year on 11.11.) It can be very packed, especially in summer, so make sure to reserve and be patient. It is not uncommon to wait 45 to 60 minutes for a meal. I have also waited up to two hours and once left without food after three hours of waiting. When all five guest rooms and the large garden are crowded, it becomes very difficult for waiters and waitresses to get to the individual tables. The car park situation is appalling, so it is strongly recommended to take the public bus or a taxi.

Place to be for some hessen food, tasty and genuine. Staff are fast and friendly. The manager best man in town, always greets you with a smile and even if st times the flow is not smooth ge keeps the clients calm and cosy. Good job folks!!!
